A traditional club founded in 1934 on a site 500 foot above sea level with magnificent views over the Bristol Channel to the South and Brecon mountains to the north. A 'James Braid' planned course covering 220 acres.Braids report said: 'it is a first class course, ideally situated. The condition is excellent and nicely undulating with out being too severe; superb for the playing of golf. The views from every part of the course and magnificent and extensive, the air exhilarating.
